Law Enforcement Policy
This Law Enforcement Policy explains how law-enforcement agencies may submit requests relating to Kizunora. Kizunora evaluates requests under applicable law. We do not promise disclosure beyond what the law requires, and we do not guarantee a particular response time.
This page is for law-enforcement agencies. Ordinary member safety concerns should use in-product Report and Block, or the published safety contact on Contact. Member reports are not a substitute for valid legal process.
Valid legal process
Non-emergency requests for account records should be made through valid legal process, such as a subpoena, court order, or search warrant, as applicable. Kizunora reviews the legal authority, scope, and identifiers provided and responds in accordance with applicable law.
Preservation requests
A preservation request asks Kizunora to retain existing records that may otherwise be deleted in the ordinary course of business, pending valid legal process. Preservation requests should identify the account or information to be preserved, the requesting agency, and a requested preservation period. Submitting a preservation request does not by itself require Kizunora to produce records, and it does not guarantee that records exist.
Emergency disclosure requests
Emergency requests should be limited to situations involving imminent danger of death or serious physical injury. Include a description of the emergency, why the information is needed without delay, and the account or information sought. Kizunora may consider emergency disclosure under applicable law. Members or others facing immediate danger should contact local emergency services first.
How to submit a request
Requests should identify the requesting agency and officer (including badge or personnel number and official contact details where available), the legal authority or emergency basis, and the relevant Kizunora account or information with sufficient specificity — for example a registered email address, public handle, or other unique identifier.
Agencies may submit requests to legal@kizunora.com. See also Contact. Do not use in-product member Report tools as a substitute for lawful process.
Immediate danger
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Kizunora is not an emergency-response service.
